Why you should seek help.

Feelings of stress and overwhelm often start when we feel unsupported or helpless in a situation. Both are a very normal response but left unchallenged can be life-changing.  Very quickly we can start to tell ourselves unhelpful stories about how we'll 'get found out' or 'look foolish' 'get it wrong'. Stress can affect our feelings of self-worth, our relationships, and our health. Popular magazines are full of articles that list the negative effects of stress on our body.

 

So it makes perfect sense to do something about how you're feeling but often it can seem as if you're stuck in the same place afraid that you'll never feel 'like yourself again'. 

 

Over time, the feelings can become more intense and your need to express them and talk about them becomes harder. You can become convinced that nothing can change, 

 

You may feel 'wrong' for feeling like this.  This can be especially true if the people around you, at work or home, seem to be coping well in the same situation.

 

My gentle and effective coaching practice is tailored to provide whatever you need so that you feel supported, acknowledged and ready to change how you feel and react.

Where are you on your journey?

How are you feeling? Is this ongoing stress because your life or work are demanding or did something not go the way you planned or expected.  Maybe you've been let down or shocked by people or events.  Whatever the cause you're probably experiencing a wide range of emotions. Have a few years passed since something happened but you just can't forget it?
